Where the Wild Things Are (2009)

Where the Wild Things Are is a 2009 film based on the 1963 children's book of the same name.
Maurice Sendak wrote the original book while Spike Jonze and Dave Eggers wrote the film's screenplay.
Max Records, Catherine Keener, and Mark Ruffalo appear in the film and an ensemble voice cast includes Lauren Ambrose, Chris Cooper, James Gandolfini, Catherine O'Hara, and Forest Whitaker.

The film recouped its $100 million buget and was generally well received.
It was released to DVD and Blu-ray in March 2010.

Rating: PG for mild thematic elements, some adventure action, and brief language.

Length: 1 hour 41 minutes.
