Parkland (2013)

Parkland is a historical drama that focuses on people directly affected by the aftermath of the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

The movie was produced by Gary Goetzman, Tom Hanks, Bill Paxton, Nigel Sinclair, and Matt Sinclair. It has a large cast including James Badge Dale, Zac Efron, Jackie Earle Haley, Colin Hanks, Paul Giamatti, Ron Livingston, and Billy Bob Thorton.

The film is based on the 2008 book Four Days in November: The Assasination of President John F. Kennedy by Vincent Bugliosi.

Parkland opened to a limited release in October 2013 and was made available on DVD & Bluray the following month to correspond with the 50th anniversary of the assasination.

Rating: PG-13 for bloody sequences of ER trauma procedures, some violent images and language, and smoking throughout.
