Ever After is a romantic period drama inspired by the classic fairy tale "Cinderella".
The movie stars Drew Barrymore, Anjelica Huston, Dougray Scott, Jeanne Moreau, Patrick Godfrey, and Melanie Lynskey.
Ever After was distributed by 20th Century Fox in July 1998 and earned almost $100 million on a $26 million budget.
It was generally positively reviewed and a Broadway musical based on the movie entered development in 2012.
A workshop featuring some of the music from the musical was held at The Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in St. Paul, Minnesota in October 2023.
